A colon is a punctuation mark consisting of two vertically arranged dots. Usually, it precedes some sort of list or explanation. It is also often used, for example, for the presentation of time. Although the colon symbol is found on most keyboards (usually next to the letter "L"), the symbols below may be useful if, for example, a particular key does not work.
